My work is a constant exploration of life and trying to understand who I am as a woman and who we are as human beings interconnecting with each other.

I paint women who reflect my feminine nature and the inner state of my feelings.
Sometimes my portraits don't have faces, but you can still sense what needs to be seen because our eyes automatically complete what is missing. With my figure paintings, much of the body is often missing and the intimate, provocative body parts change into meaning as we project what we want to see.

In my photographs I try to capture moments in time with images and shapes that connect us emotionally to a higher form of existence. I feel a strong love for nature because it is pure, complex and beautifully simple all at the same and I am a part of it.

I am drawn to objects that are formed and touched only by nature and time and which are transformed into works of art and beauty. This can be an image of a coconut, a tree a stone, and also an old woman's hand or a middle-aged man's expression. I recognize the signs of time and these also become a part of me. I invite you to see the world through my eyes.
